A 67 year old Korean businessman lost 30 billion won (S$34.2 million) gambling in three years (2003-2006). Mr. Chung said prior to that he didn't even know how to gamble.

His gambling addiction took hold when he tried to recoup his losses. He is suing the casino for allegedly fueling his addiction.

"I still get the feeling that I can win back the money at the casino," Mr. Chung said.

Well, it took over $34 million to learn that he couldn't.
