Kevin John Pinto, 38, was a financier who recently received a 6 year sentence for robbing banks over a 6 year period (2002-2008) to finance his gambling addiction. His nickname was the "exchange bandit" because he would approach bank tellers, ask for the U.S. exchange rate before handing them a holdup note.

What makes this interesting is that Mr. Pinto had studied psychology and sociology. He should have known a bit about addiction from his psychology studies?
