Checking in

Hello everyone,

I haven't posted in awhile. I thought I'd drop by to see how everyone is doing.

I see the site has changed a bit.

I've been clean since April 11, 2006. Moe used to post almost evey single day. I enjoyed reading his posts. I hope he's still around and doing good. Has anyone heard from him?

I hope you're all doing well. It's one day at a time and the months start to add up. Scotty, I hope you're enjoying that big TV you got recently. Bldshy, how's business on the Internet?

Ann, Sue, Liz, CJ, Kiki, Stacey, Rick, QuickFlic, Juanbo, and everyone else. I hope you're all doing good. If you relapse, there's no shame in it. We've all been there. Drop by to let everyone how you're doing. We can't solve our problems if we hide them. It's perfectly okay to say, "I relapsed. I made a mistake." We all do at some point. Guilt is a heavy burden to carry, so please don't be so hard on yourself for your past mistakes. We learn from them.

I will *not* make a commitment to this group or anyone that I will never gamble again. I will only make a commitment to do better each day, and do more than I did yesterday. I will make a commitment to everyone here that I will drop in 1-3 times a week to check in and see how you are all doing.

We all need each other.

Have a good night.

Hello there Bach, It's great

Hello there Bach,

It's great to hear from you and to know that you're doing so well!  You're almost at the 1/2 year mark now, that must be very satisfying for you.

I've been a little remiss in posting myself but do check in periodically.  I've been wondering about Moe myself, I too enjoyed reading his posts.  I often times wonder about a lot of people here that used to post regularly and hope that they're all doing well.  I hope that relapses don't stop them from coming around if that's the case.  I've had them and I know how difficult it is to come back and post.  One thing I did find though is that it's worse to keep it to yourself.

I totally agree with you Bach, we try to do better each and every single day in reaching a gamble free life.  It's good to hear from you.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.

Ann
